The People page in Allo displays all current workspace members, providing a quick summary of everyone on the team. Each team member also has their own personal page, where you can view their organizational position, goals and progresses, and any projects they are working on.
You can use the personal pages to learn more about your teammates without interrupting their work. You can find out their local time, the teams they belong to, who their manager is, and who their direct reports are. This allows you to gain insight into your team's structure and workflow.
Only workspace admins and members themselves can assign managers and teams. To assign a manager or add a team, click on the three-dot icon located in the top-right corner of the personal card and select "Edit manager and teams". Each member can only have one manager but can be part of multiple teams.
To easily visualize the relationships between team members, navigate to the "Org chart" tab in the left sidebar. This feature provides a clear and intuitive view of the hierarchy within the company and how individuals are connected. Here's how you can use the Org chart:
- Click the number below someone's profile card to see who their direct reports are.
- Expand the chart by clicking the expand icon in the top right corner.
- Use your mouse to zoom in and out, or click and drag to navigate the chart.
