ALLO Inbox is a centralized notification system that allows you to receive all mentions from ALLO and integrated third-party apps in one place. You can access ALLO Inbox by clicking on the inbox icon located in the top-right corner of the screen or through the Inbox feature in the left sidebar under the Cockpit tab. In ALLO Inbox, you can view all messages that mention you and respond to them directly without switching between apps. What you can expect to see in ALLO Inbox
ALLO Inbox displays all the contents where I am mentioned, as well as the subsequent conversation threads. For example, in Slack, all messages that mention me and all the threads under those messages are shown in my ALLO Inbox. Similarly, if I am tagged in a comment on a task in Asana, the comment and all the subsequent comments under the same task will appear in my ALLO Inbox.
What you can expect to see in the Recent sidebar
In some cases, it may be important for you to stay informed or provide input on a document even if you haven't been directly mentioned in it. In these situations, ALLO's Recent sidebar in the Inbox can be useful. The Recent sidebar displays the content that you have recently interacted with across various apps, allowing you to quickly access and stay updated on the most recent documents and activities that require your attention. How to utilize ALLO Inbox
The badge number for Inbox represents the total number of your mentioned conversations that are located in the Active inbox. Once a conversation is moved to the "Completed" tab by clicking the "Complete" button located at the top-right corner of the conversation, the badge number will be decreased by one.
By clicking the "Reply" button in the conversation, you can conveniently respond to the conversation directly within ALLO without the need to switch to another tool. Your response will be displayed in both ALLO and the original app, ensuring seamless communication and keeping the conversation connected across platforms.
