Canvas passcode

You can add extra protection to your canvas so that only people with the passcode can enter.

Set the canvas passcode

To set a canvas passcode, follow the below steps:

1. Enter the canvas you want to set a passcode of
2. Click the three-dot next to the canvas name towards the top of the screen
3. Select "Protect the canvas"
4. Input a 4-digit passcode 
5. Click "Set passcode"

Once the passcode is set, everyone other than yourself will need to enter the passcode to access the canvas.

Remove the canvas passcode

To remove the canvas passcode, follow the below steps:

1. Enter the canvas you want to remove the passcode of
2. Click the three-dot next to the canvas name towards the top of the screen
3. Select "Protect the canvas"
4. Click "Reset Passcode"
5. The account email you used to set the passcode should be automatically filled in. If not, enter the account email you used to set the passcode
6. Click "Submit"
7. Check your email and look for the mail titled "Reset Passcode"
8. Click "Reset Passcode" 

Once you finished the process, the passcode of the canvas will be removed and people who have access to the canvas will no longer need to enter the passcode to enter.
